Formal Education

Graduate work at Kansas State University, 1991-1999. Graduate Seminars for novelists, seminar on Hooker, audited seminar on Spanish Medieval Literature.
Ph.D. in Theology, 1986. Graduate Theological Union and the University of California Graduate School in Berkeley, 1979-82. GPA: 4.0.
Comprehensive Examinations. Theology of the Modern Period, Apocalyptic and Nuclear War, William James and Karl Barth, Mathematics, Science, and Theology.
Languages. Primary proficiency in French, German, and Spanish, fluent in Spanish.
