Worship Worship in the Anglican tradition is composed to two aspects, Word and Sacrament. This can be seen in the Anglican liturgies which begin with the Word of God given in Scripture readings, sermon, and creed, followed by the Holy Communion which is the sacrament of Christ's body and blood. In this section we will be discussing worship, specifically, Anglican worship. The first set of essays given below, listed under the title, "Holy Eucharist," emphasize the second aspect, the sacrament of the body and blood. Hopefully, there will be another series on the Word of God, especially preaching. The essays are an introduction to worship, written for those who are not familiar with Anglican worship. The essays follow in the section entitled "Holy Eucharist." Holy EucharistThe Rev. Robert J. Sanders, Ph.D.
